I have over 7 years experience tutoring in math. I've worked as a math teacher for middle school math at a charter school, I've taught math to non-traditional students working toward their GED, I've taught college algebra to over 300 university students. I love helping people understand math and simplify the concepts so that math becomes doable for the student. I was a TA for college algebra at Brigham Young University for a year, and then worked at a math tutoring company for 3 years after I graduated. I am very patient and understanding. I know what it is like to struggle with concepts and display empathy when working with individuals.

In my free time I love songwriting. I play the piano and I sing. Although I have performed at a few shows, I enjoy songwriting more as a hobby. I'm also a lover of the outdoors. I love to hike, run, and play noncompetitive sports. Family is most important to me. I love to spend time with them as much as I can. One of my favorite parts of the day is trying new recipes for dinner with my husband. My faith is also important to me and I strive to live my life in a Christ-like way.
